The Ferocious Ghost Dog is an item in Otherworld Legends.
Every hit from any attack or skill, including dodges, has a 1/6 chance to create 3 projectiles shaped like black-colored Teks in a cone shape, regardless of whether the hit landed on an enemy. Dogs summoned this way will charge forward quickly and deal damage, equal to player's damage stat, to enemies once after hitting them. The dogs pierce enemies and can hit multiple targets due to this piercing nature.
Category boost: Each equipped item of Special Attack category (Except Fireball itself) adds one additional ghost dog during triggering the item. The limit is 9 items, which means, that with 9 Special Attack category items there will be 12 running ghost dogs in a cone shape, that have a chance to be released with an attack/dodge.
Since the dogs pierce enemies while they charge and cannot be stopped, this item can serve as a decent tool for crowd control. Since skills that hit multiple times like Peddler's Swinging Kitty or Ginzo's Hiken - Heirloom Katana have many hits, they have a higher chance to trigger the effect of this item. However, the dogs have heavy knockback, causing them to occasionally push them out of one of your combos at the wrong time, meaning they can be annoying at times.
